Information Center
The lead state agency preparing for Idaho's Bicentennial Commemoration is the Idaho State Historical Society.
Within this agency is the Lewis and Clark Information Center and the office of the Bicentennial Coordinator.
The Coordinator serves as state staff to the Governor's Lewis and Clark Trail Committee and also provides an information conduit between intrastate and interstate planning organizations.
The Governor's Trail Committee meets three times per year to prioritize plans and projects, approve funding proposals and liaison with national planning organizations.
